23 Feb Six sensational cookers for your new luxury kitchen
While the Winter evenings might be cold and dark, your kitchen can be warm and welcoming with the right cooker. At Copperleaf Design, we know the most important appliance in your kitchen is the cooker and that in order to cook culinary masterpieces you need a reliable and spacious appliance.
So we’ve invited North East-based AGA and range cooker specialist Walter Dix & Co to share some of its favourite models of the season with you.
This new generation AGA Total Control Cooker has greater flexibility, allowing the user to individually control each oven and hotplate. This feature allows it to work like a range in Summer, and in Winter it can create the ambient warmth to the kitchen and home that the AGA is so well known for. This product is powered by electricity and features cast iron ovens, which produces great tasting food.
This contemporary and compact AGA cooker is ideal for the smaller kitchen or cottage. It will fit quite comfortably into a classic worktop space, while still boasting the same oven capacity as a standard AGA. The ovens of the cooker are controllable and the top oven can be set on a timer. Alternatively, the ovens can be simply left on to give warmth and act as a radiator in the kitchen, perfect for Winter. The traditional cooker comes with the choice of a four burner gas hob or traditional hotplate.
The palette of AGA enamelled colours just gets better! We love the Dual Control Five Oven AGA in new Dartmouth Blue, which gives a subtle elegant finish to any kitchen. The main cooking ovens can be powered either by gas or electric heat source and they are designed to be on all of the time, ensuring your kitchen is always welcoming. The hotplates are powered by their own individual electric element and can be turned on and off when needed.
Falcon Continental Dual Fuel
Falcon cooking ranges are well known for their build quality and reliability. The clean lines and beautiful hand finished touches make this a truly robust range, perfect for even for the busiest of kitchens. The continental model comes with either an induction hob or as shown five burner gas hob. The two large ovens allow for plenty of cooking space, and the large drawer creates storage for your essential cookware.
Lacanche cookers were founded over 200 years ago and are the oldest range cooker manufacturer in the world. These classic French ranges boast a reputation for design, build quality and heritage. The latest models have evolved into the market leader with their Classic and Modern ranges. This model shown features a traditional chef’s top with added burners and electric griddle.
Italian range cooker maestros Ilve are the next big thing in high quality ranges. Theses cookers boast many fantastic design features, including a bespoke colour match service. The contemporary Roma Range not only looks fantastic but is energy efficient too.
We hope these expert suggestions from Walter Dix & Co will bring you a step closer to finding the perfect cooker.
